Wow, the German teens actually woke up and chatted with us online at 8am! They seemed to chat from an internet cafe too… didn’t know that the internet cafes operate so early in Germany unlike the internet cafes in Singapore.

I wish we had done video-conferenceing too during the chat. I think it would be so much fun to be able to see who we are chatting to. Maybe can consider video-conferencing next year!

Agreed. It’s always nice to see your friends’ faces! JRL and TRL had organised a library event called “East Meets West” in 2005, using video-conferencing.
