Because Gerry left only 10 letters for Holly, not 12! Each letter was opened each month from March to December. :) I was disappointed after finishing the movie too, they changed almost everything from how Holly and Gerry meet to Holly's letters and Holly's family. I cried so much when I read the book but not the movie. :( A great novel by the way! Oh and I recommend a romance book if anyone's interested "Things I know about love" by Kate le Vann, it also made me cry a lot! Hi Kathleen, did you read the book carefully? Oh dear, and I was looking forward to it too! It's sad that they didn't include all of Holly's siblings though. I've just finished reading the novel and it's fantastic! Holly is so lucky to have met and married her soulmate. The perfect love story.
