Book Review: Art Geeks and Prom Queens by Alyson Noel

Art Geeks and Prom Queens is a very interesting and humorous book to read especially for the teenage girls out there. The story is about a teenage girl, Rio Jones, of an age of 16, moving from her hometown at New York to Southern California where she had to study in a new private school. It was very different from back where her old school was. After some time, she fitted in with everyone at her new school. She got to know Kristi, who is known to be one of the most popular girls in the school. Kristi tried all means to get close to Rio just because of Rio’s supermodel mum, but Rio felt very restricted in her actions whenever she’s around Kristi.

This story reflects on the idea of knowing who your true friends are and trusting in them. I would recommend this book to everyone out there.
