We had a Read! Singapore 2008 discussion on Colin’s Lee’s short story ‘Yew Lee’s Wedding Woes’ from ‘Home and Away’ on 25th June, 3pm at Jurong Regional Library.

Check out the crowd!

60 students all the way from Kranji Secondary School (that’s Peter talking to the students about Read! Singapore 2008). We listened to an audio recording of the story and then there was a short discussion. One of the cheeky groups won applause from the floor with their ”better to not wear anything instead of worrying to wear red or white” comment. Go read the book to find out what Im talking about.

Then we got all excited playing our own wedding version of Bingo. 2 groups ‘BINGO’ed at the same time!
