≡ about Y.O!
YO.
Yes, YO.
No, we’re not trying to be rude or act hip.
‘Yo’ is an expression.
We even looked up an online dictionary to be sure:
YO
- (used as an exclamation to get someone’s attention, express excitement, greet someone, etc.)
- here; present: used esp. in answer to a roll call.
We’d like YO (the blog) to be many things. We’ve set it up so that young people (13 to 25 or thereabouts… numbers don’t mean that much to us here) can have their say.
Or we’d link to what young people are talking about.
We hope to also connect young people to interesting stuff in books, libraries, blogs, and other young people.
We’ve got big plans.
But we’d rather you check this blog out for yourself.
It’s for you.
Really.
Yo.
We know you’re here.
