Who are we?
This blog is maintained by the librarians and manager of library@orchard. You can spot us prowling around the library, clad in our nifty black blazers. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone who works in a library is a “librarian”. Wanna know the differences? Check out the NLB Career Page!
So, introducing…. US!
Jasna
Jasna has been with NLB for 10 years.
Starting out at (what was then called) the Library Support Services, she then moved to the Corporate Communications Division.
She is currently with the Public Library Services as the manager of library@orchard.
Jillian
Jillian has been with the library@orchard for the past 2 years. She writes for 2 other NLB blogs: High Browse Online and ASK!. Her secret ambition is to be a private investigator. Unfortunately, she can’t drive, which would be a problem if she had to tail someone. So she has decided to put her innate curiousity to good use via librarianship.
Lynn
Lynn is a n00b in the library business, having joined about a month and a half ago. On her first day of work, her superiors took her on a walk (in wholly unsuitable heels) and told her that the library was closing! Sorry, relocating. She is all ready to continue serving her library by helping out with the (re)construction work in between updating this blog.
