It is a pity to learn that library@orchard will be moving out from its current premises soon. It is such a convenient location. I will definitely miss the cosy, quiet ambience and great variety of books there…
Thank you G H - great to know that you liked the variety of books. Btw, we just finished a refresh of the collection a few months ago, so we have stocked up on some of the more popular and new titles - you may want to check these out. Also, do look out for our programmes in the next coming months.
The two sites for the new library@orchard will be better and bigger and just as convenient… so watch this space!
PLEASE INSTALL A SOFA-LOUNGE FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO READ NEWSPAPERS & MAGAZINES COS I HAVE BACK PAIN & ACHE SITTING IN SUCH UNCOMFORTABLE CHAIRS.LOOK AT THE COMFY & HIGH-TECH DESIGN CHAIRS IN CAFES LIKE TCC &COFFEE CLUB………..OH……..MY GOD!!!!!!!!!! JUST WONDER NLB CAN FIND SOME FURNITURE SHOP LIKE NOVENA…ETC…. IF NOT THE FUTURE LIBRARY @ORCHARD WILL DEFINETELY LOOK SOOOOO…….. OUT OF PLACE IN THE NEW 2010S ORCHARD HIGH-END SHOPPING BELT NEXT TO ION ORCHARD.CENTRAL @SOMERSET,O.K?ALSO,PLEASE PUT A MASCOT OUTSIDE THE LIBRARY@ORCHARD FOR OVERSEAS TOURISTS TO TAKE PHOTOS FOR SOUVENIR SAKE COS I THINK IT WILL PROMOTE IT AS A NATIONAL
MONUMENT LIKE THE NATIONAL HISTORIC MUSEUM,AGREE?
