circa2007
One of our programme/exhibition partners for Aug-Sep is circa2007, a photo-outreach programme, which encourages youth (aged 13-19) to be part of the Singapore Art Show via photography. This year, participants hafta submit works that depict life in Singapore.
Alas, the deadline for submissions has passed. But do check out the upcoming exhibition at the library@orchard, which will happening from 6 August 2007 – 30 September 2007. You may find photos placed in really unexpected areas!
There’s also one more circa2007 photography talk on 11 August, 3-4pm at the library@orchard programme zone.
Entitled “Shooting in Asia”, it will be conducted by Kris Leboutillier, an American Photographer and writer whose works have been published in magazines and newspapers throughout Asia and the United States. He has also photographed for National Geographic and for Singapore Airlines. At this talk, Kris will share his photography experiences from his many travel assignments across Asia.
