What if a Library is like a Theatre?

unlibrary-logo.jpg

The National Library Board is running a new experimental project code-named “UnLibrary” which is helmed by local playwright and artistic director, Alvin Tan (of The Necessary Stage).

The publicity done so far seems to indicate that a small team of volunteers will be working closely with the playwright to redesign parts of the Library@Esplanade which specialises in the performing arts, and this will in turn be opened to the public to tweak and interact with.

There’s a call for volunteers to join the project team. Anybody interested?
