Ask Stupid Questions Backstage @ Civil Service College 22 June 2007

“Excellent method to have creative ideas from everyone. Both trainers have managed the workshop exceptionally well and it is obvious through the rapport from the audience.”

“Framework is interesting. Facilitators were good at working up and warming up the crowd. They were logical, analytical and knowledgeable.”

“Can use for enhancing my work scope for ideas generation.”

“Unique programme to teach us how to think creatively to solve problems. Great job!!!”

The above are just some of the feedback we received after running this one day workshop for 56 participants in the Civil Service College on 22 June 2007.

From all accounts, this was a successful workshop. Participants gained a first-hand training in using the “Ask Stupid Questions” methodology to start generating WOW ideas and finding “never-thought-of” solutions.

Some of the smart “stupid questions” created include:

“What if classroms have a cafe?”

“How can students imitate David Beckham?”

“What if Advisory Counters are run like McDonald’s fast-food drive-in?”

We had a great time running this workshop. The participants came from a wide group of government bodies which included the CPF Board, Ministry of Manpower, ITE, MOE, MINDEF, and more. They applauded us with the following ratings:

Performance Mean Score: 4.23 (out of maximum of 5)
Trainer Overall Mean Score: 4.38 (out of maximum of 5)
