The National Book Critic Circle (NBCC) on Saturday announced the 2007 awards finalists.

The finalists for the Fiction category is as follows:

• Sacred Games by Vikram Chandra (Call No.: English CHA)
• The Brief Wondrous Life Of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz (Call No.: English DIA)
• In The Country of Men by Hisham Matar (Call No.: English MAT)
• The Gravediggers Daughter by Joyce Carol Oates (Call No.: English OAT)
• The Shadow Catcher by Marianne Wiggins (Call No.: English WIG)
