Apologies for the late Fiction Alert this month – I figured I wanted to wait for the Man Booker Prize shortlist to be out. Just announced a couple of hours ago, the Man Booker Prize shortlist contains titles from independent publishers as well as the big players in the field. The hot favourite seems to be Hilary Mantel’s Bring Up The Bodies, the sequel to Wolf Hall which won the 2009 Man Booker Prize. The following is a poster provided by the Man Booker Prize organizers.
