Dissecting Shakespeare
Saturday, 15 March 2008
3.30pm - 4.30pm
Open Stage, library@esplanade
While Shakespeare was undoubtedly meant to be performed on stage, there’s still the nitty-gritty stuff with which all of us have trouble. It’s no surprise that thousands of scholars have wrestled with Shakespeare for hundreds of years. Just look at the number of shelves dedicated to Shakespeare criticism in the library.
Join us this March as we discuss all things Shakespeare. We have assembled a panel of — no, not scholars — but the everyman-on-the-street who have found a place in their hearts for the Old Bard.
