Staff Profile: Indra

Senior Library Officer, library@esplanade

His close friends call him IN and MUSIC is his life. He fell in love with a curvaceous instrument when he was 7 years old. Followed his passion then and spent 7 years studying music theory, focusing on the 6-string as his primary axe. He now wields the 7, 8 and 12-strings, too. At the age of 21, he spent time as a part-time instructor at the Yamaha music school, giving lessons on the classical guitar.

He is an adventure-seeking dude who loves to read, learn and share what he knows with the people around him. He especially loves reading on the latest happenings in the music and technological domain, so it’s no surprise he’s very much a gadgets and gizmos guy. M. Night Shyamalan blows him away with his stories and Steve Vai is his main man.
