Douglas Adams was a British author best known for his Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series, which can be described as Science Fiction with a huge dollop of humour and wit. The series contains 5 titles: The Hitch-Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, Life the Universe and Everything, So Long and Thanks for All the Fish, and finally, Mostly Harmless.
He was also known to be an avid supporter of efforts to save endangered animals.
Douglas Adams passed away on May 11th, 2001.
