Dodos were usually food for the sailors. They kept them in hard and locked boxes with air, then they fried them..

Dodos are very cute animals, you can check Wikipedia.org for more!

From a logical standpoint, it is unlikely Nessie exists though I have always been fascinated by the concept. By now, surely someone would have a definitive pick or there would be some true evidence based on sonar testing. However, I do think there are some things humans do not know and there are species, etc that are still undiscovered. It is like Bigfoot. I don\'t totally rule out the possibility of a rare form of gorilla existing but wouldn\'t we have found at least one dead corpse, bones, etc by now? The Loch Ness is a neat place and if you are into science, the body of water itself is a fascinating study. I would like to believe Nessie is real but if I am being honest, it is unlikely though I cannot one hundred percent rule it out.

Students believe what they see (read) because critical thinking (and viewing) are not part of the curriculum.

I agree.
Knowing that what is there; the constant feeling of dread, is more spine-chilling then creatures and gore.
The sad fact is that physical horror is now the norm in movies, fueled by the You Tube generation's need for quick visual gratification.
Pray that literary horror do not go the same way.

You'll have to admit though that, like one of the movies you mentioned, it is even better if there's psychological terror AND a haunted house.

:)

Good article on pink eye. Many people are now aware how easily pink eye can spread and this article's title has a good ideal. The site http://www.eyecaresource.com/conditions/pink-eye/ has more information on the eye problem.
