Do fairies really exist in the world?

The concept of fairies is actually an invention by Man and they do not actually exist.

“In folklore a fairy is a preternatural creature that lives on the earth and may be either helpful or harmful to human beings.
Fairies are common to folklore all over the world. They resemble humans but are usually much smaller and possess powers of magic.
They can become invisible at will and thus live unseen in the midst of human society.”

  1. hey but look at this site about how fairies are connected to us and the much debated 2012. http://www.realfairies.net/mr-e-talks-about-2012.html

many have been in contact with the elves, mr e, one of the elves, for example. i understand there is no solid proof but if you aren\\\’t 100% sure that fairies are simply made up, then don\\\’t claim that. thank you.

  2. Hi fairybeliever,

Thank you for your comment. We Librarians base our research and citations on credible and authoritative sources, and in this case, the Grolier Online database as well as the published print resources.

We have also used the ProQuest Hoover’s Company Records database as well as internet sources to ascertain the authoritativeness of the company which you have hyperlinked in your comment.

Please note that this source that you quoted is a blog created by 2 individuals, which claims to have interacted with fairies. Their details can be found at their same website which you quoted us earlier http://www.realfairies.net/about

You may like to visit our this posting for your information and knowledge http://blogs.nlb.gov.sg/ask/teens/688

We thank you for your feedback and we look forward to your continued support and patronage for our ASK blog.
